Super Paper Mario #17: After rescuing Tippi from the clutches of Francis, we place the new pure heart into another pillar and head off to chapter 4! Well, that's what I would be saying if we could do that - it takes place in outer space, and Mario cannot breathe in outer space. Let's ignore the fact that Super Mario Galaxy released mere two months later.
Donkey Kong Country Returns #28: Progress is relatively slow today, since even with Squawks joining us in every stage now, we still have some trouble finding all the missing collectibles. It really is tricky!

Pikmin 2 #34: We're finally collecting the final above-ground treasures of the Perplexing Pool - and with that, the third of four worlds is officially 100% finished! The final stop on our mission is the Wistful Wild, where today's plan is mostly just to build new paths and clear them of any dangers that may lurk.
Super Mario Bros. 3 #03: World three is getting finished, world four is coming right up. That means: we're going from the waters straight into the Giant Land, where, as the name may suggest, everything is absolutely massive, from the blocks to the enemies! It's a pretty short world, and we're rushing through it in record time.
I'm kinda growing tired of comments having absolutely nothing to do with the video whatsoever. If you're clicking on a video about Super Mario Bros. 3 and you leave a comment about what you thought when watching the Mario Galaxy movie, that's one thing since it has nothing to do with the video, but at least we're in the same franchise. But something I cannot stand is the people who comment something completely random that has NOTHING to do with anything that's being said or played, and then they ping me like "hey I watched your video and commented on it for the algorithm". We ain't doing this for the algorithm, we're doing this for fun, so just comment something relevant to the video or the game! Can't be that hard now, can it? x_X

Not a great day for me personally today. For one: I can't find my 3DS charger for the life of me, no idea where I put it, but I had to order a new one. Then my Wii nunchuk broke out of nowhere, and THEN my headphones suddenly split in half today during recordings. Great. Absolutely great. But of course, as usual I got two new vids for ya!
Super Paper Mario #16: Mario goes dating sim?! All we wanted is to save Tippi from the claws of Francis the supernerd aka Nintendo's very own Chris Chan, but once he sees Peach, he panics - since he can't regularly talk to "hot babes" he uses the Nerr2Babe software to try and win her over! Peach, however, grows more and more impatient...
Donkey Kong Country Returns #27: World 2 can officially get marked as 100% completed! With the help of our trusty parrot companion Squawks, we finish the remaining beach levels and then tackle the second K stage for the next rare orb!

Pikmin 2 #33: Today's episode is the perfect mix of good luck and terrible luck. The good luck comes by defeating Waterwraith with very few deaths and finally getting out of the Submerged Castle. The terrible luck... well, just see for yourself. x_X
Super Mario Bros. 3 #02: We're finishing the desert world tonight with some more fun stages including a pyramid and, of course, the airship. World 3 also promises a lot of watery fun both above and below the surface, and it's here where the difficulty starts rising a little!

Super Paper Mario #15: We're finally inside Fort Francis, where its namesake, a tech nerd with a thing for supergeniuses and "totally hot babes", is keeping our companion Tippi hostage. With the help of a new Pixl named Carrie that we find here, we march on forward, getting closer and closer to Francis...
Donkey Kong Country Returns #26: In today's backtracking episode, we're making a lot of progress through world 2 since we already had one stage completely finished! That means: next time we're finishing world 2 with the next K stage!
Tomorrow: the intense Waterwraith fight in Pikmin 2's Submerged Castle, and the rest of the desert world in Super Mario Bros. 3, with a first look into the water world!

The first new LP of this year started today: Super Mario Bros. 3 (100%)! Follow the link to get more info on that. :D It's one of my favorite video games of all time, and I hope you guys are as excited as I am about it!
Pikmin 2 #32: In what has to be the most stressful episode so far, we carefully continue through more of the Submerged Castle. It gets very clear though that we are not alone down here...
Super Mario Bros. 3 #01: The best NES game ever made, remade with SNES graphics - this is my Super Mario Bros. 3 LP, played on the Super Mario All-Stars compilation! In this first episode, we rush straight through the first world and halfway through the second world, which as per usual for a Mario game, is a desert world.
Coming back to yesterday's entry, I mentioned that I'm turning my retro collection physical, and last night I ordered three games: Deadly Creatures, Disney Epic Mickey and Petz: Hamsterz 2 - they'll be arriving here soon. I'm also thinking about writing game reviews on here... I think that could be fun! Well, we'll see what happens. :)
Tomorrow: more Super Paper Mario and DKCR. We have several pretty long LPs running currently - Pikmin 2 will be something between 45 and 50 episodes long, DKCR will also be 40+, and I can't tell how long Paper Mario will be but that will probably also be somewhere near the 40s. So, not a lot of LP variation currently, but don't worry: that's gonna change throughout the year. :D

Long day today, only got home about an hour ago. Headache is killing me tonight. But that doesn't stop us from two new videos!
Super Paper Mario #14: Quite a strange tree, that is. It just casually has two billboards on it. And it's also pretty dang massive. At the top of the tree, Dimentio awaits us for a challenging battle before we can head to Fort Francis!
Donkey Kong Country Returns #25: The first, and easiest, of the K stages is on the menu tonight. Pretty simple in concept, and the puzzle pieces also aren't too well hidden. However, actually getting through can prove to be a nightmare at times!
I'm currently trying my best (as much as my financial situation allows) to bring all those retro games I've played over the years into a physical form. I've bought almost all the Xbox 360 games I've played over the last 5 years recently, and I'm currently expanding my Wii, DS and Game Boy collections. It's shaping up quite nicely, but it's still a long way to where I want to be with it eventually.
Tomorrow's video plan:
- Pikmin 2 #32 - by far the most stressful episode to date, mostly thanks to the Waterwraith
- Start of a new LP - a short but sweet playthrough of one of my favorite games of all time!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 ended today with episode 71! With a timeframe of four and a half months, this was by far the longest LP on my channel to date - and also one that was consistently quite popular. I want to thank each and everyone who watched that LP and maybe subscribed because of it, it truly means the world! (if anyone even reads this lol)
In Pikmin 2 #31, we headed into the Submerged Castle today with high spirits... which, if you know the Submerged Castle, you will know that by the next episode I'll be in shambles. xD But today, things went pretty well I'd say.
As far as personal things go: as some of you may know, I'm a huge music nerd, and I love going to festivals - one of them being Rock im Park in Nuremberg, Germany. I'm planning on going this year, but the schedule on one of the days is beyond fucked up: I have to decide between seeing Linkin Park and BABYMETAL. I love both bands a lot. I've seen Linkin Park twice before, and I have not seen BABYMETAL yet, in fact I missed them a whopping three times now. But today I made my decision: Linkin Park it is! BABYMETAL announced a show in Germany on June 16th, so I'll be going to that and sparing myself the decision trouble. Win-win! :D

Sooo, I finally decided to make a little retro-style website for my retro-style channel! And here, my friends, I'll be posting my thoughts every evening, whatever they may be about: LPs, games, personal stuff.
Hey, we're getting closer to 900 subscribers every day! I'm thinking about doing a special video if we hit the big 1,000 - no specific ideas yet, but I'm sure that I can get my creative juices flowing for that!
Right, time to take a look at the LPs! What projects are currently underway as I launch my website? Super Mario Galaxy 2 is finished and consists of 71 parts; it ends tomorrow on January 20th. Donkey Kong Country Returns is currently in its second half, after the actual final boss, we're just collecting everything we missed until we reach the 100%. Pikmin 2 is also on a pretty good path, and Super Paper Mario is making its stay worthwhile. As for the follow-up project to SMG2, it's completely recorded already, and a quite short project. Stay tuned!
Well folks, the Christmas holidays are over, and it's definitely noticeable - viewership has gone down a bit, not just for me, but for most smaller creators. But in general, if it's fun then that's really nothing to worry about. Generally, when you have problems IRL you realize how unimportant LPs actually are. But man, is it a wonderful hobby... :D
