The Paper Mario series has always been known for its creativity, charm, humor and inventive paper-themed worlds. Beginning on the Nintendo 64 and evolving beautifully through The Thousand-Year Door, the series quickly built a reputation for blending RPG mechanics with puzzle solving and a heartfelt narrative. Its signature visual style (a flat world of characters and environments made of paper) helped set it apart as one of Nintendo's most imaginative franchises.
Released in 2007 on the Nintendo Wii, Super Paper Mario took the series in a bold new direction. Instead of turn-based battles, it reimagined the formula with real-time platforming infused with RPG stats and storytelling. The highlight is Mario's ability to "flip" between 2D and 3D perspectives - revealing secrets, altering puzzle layouts and transforming the way players explore the world. The game features an unforgettable cast, witty dialogue and surprisingly emotional story beats that remain beloved by fans.

I've had this thing lying around for years, and finally it's time to play it - my first ever Paper Mario game! And I must say, the humor is perfect for me, and Count BLEGH is awesome. In general, the amount of "voice acting" I can do here makes it so much fun and there have been several moments where I've laughed harder than in any other LP so far!
