After the success of the original Pikmin, Nintendo returned in 2004 with Pikmin 2 on the GameCube - expanding on everything that made the first game special. The sequel deepened the strategy, removed the time limit and added a wealth of new mechanics, all while keeping that mix of charm, tension and discovery that defined the series. It remains one of the most beloved entries in Nintendo's library of real-time strategy adventures.
In Pikmin 2, Captain Olimar returns to his home planet only to discover that his company, Hocotate Freight, is deep in debt. To save it, he and his new partner Louie return to the Pikmin planet in search of valuable treasures buried underground. This time, players control two captains, explore mysterious caves and command an even wider variety of Pikmin - including the heavy-lifting Purple Pikmin and the poisonous White Pikmin. The game's mix of surface exploration and underground challenges creates a rich and rewarding experience for strategy fans.

After Pikmin 1, this was pretty much inevitable since it is, in my opinion, the better game - mainly due to the lack of time pressure and the addition of caves! And even though these caves do get unforgivingly difficult at times (looking at you, Dream Den... x_X), this one is so much fun to replay as an LP!
