Lentokenttä

Lentokenttä is my main music project. Yep, the LPer does music too... that can't be good, can it? Well, I'd say go and judge for yourself.

It's in the style of black metal, a style of music that I discovered while in school and it spoke to me on a much deeper level than most other music had ever done before. In 2019, I wrote my first black metal-like song titled Fading Hopes of a Finer Fate, with really no idea of what to do with it. In 2020/21, during the heat of the pandemic, more and more songs started taking shape, and eventually I gave the project a name - at first, it was called Silenced Lives, after one of the songs of the same name. However, before the first official release in 2022, I changed my mind and changed the name to Lentokenttä.
